NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Milo at the Town Hall, 137 Main Street, Penn Yan, New York, at 7:00P.M. on the 20th day of January, 2026, concerning proposed Local Law Number 4 of 2025, entitled the “A LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE ZONING LAW OF THE TOWN OF MILO AS SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 350 OF THE MILO TOWN CODE.” The purpose of the proposed local law is to reconcile and stay current with changes in state law, remain consistent with the town’s comprehensive plan and address evolving land uses in the town not contemplated or provided for in the current town zoning law as set forth in Chapter 350 of the Milo Town Code and to reconcile and accommodate proposed amendments and revisions in the Town’s dog control local law as set forth in Chapter 142 of the Milo Town Code. A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk.

            At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.
